Job summary

Dhaka Technologies Limited is seeking a highly skilled Software Test Analyst for one of our clients in Annapolis, Maryland. This is a Hybrid Full-Time position.

Essential Functions

Testing Phases and Execution:

  • Testing Phases: Conduct system, regression, and user acceptance testing to ensure software quality.
  • Test Planning: Analyze system requirements, create test data, and develop test plans to meet customer needs.
  • Automated Testing: Develop and execute automated test scripts for mobile, web applications, and web services.

Testing Activities:

  • End-to-End Testing: Perform end-to-end, performance, and smoke testing.
  • Defect Analysis: Assist business analysts in troubleshooting issues and analyzing the root cause of production defects.
  • Leadership: Lead testing activities, including understanding and communicating requirements, reviewing test cases, and mentoring other testers.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & CAPABILITIES:

Meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • Education: Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Substitution:
      • Bachelor’s degree can substitute for 1 year of experience.
      • Master’s degree can substitute for 2 years of experience.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in software testing.
    • 2+ years of experience testing web-based software, Edifecs file processing software, EDI transactions, and integrated eligibility systems.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • System Understanding: Ability to understand complex system functionality.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills to communicate complex concepts effectively.
  • Project Environment: Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, stressful project environment.
  • Health Exchange Experience: 2+ years of experience working for a Health Insurance Exchange or Health and Human Services system.

Desired Software and Services Experience:

  • Databases: SQL Server.
  • Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure.
  • Mobile Testing: BrowserStack.
  • Development Tools: Visual Studio IDE, C#, GitHub, Jenkins, Eclipse IDE.
  • Testing Frameworks: Selenium Web Driver, TestNG, Maven, Hybrid Automated Test Framework (Java), RestAssured.
  • Performance Testing: JMeter, SoapUI.
  • AI Testing Tools: Familiarity with AI testing tools.
  • Project Management Tools: Jira, Confluence.
